getTo

The next time you say “I have to” do something, replace it with “I get to!” It instantly turns a complaint into gratitude! “I have to work” becomes a statement of gratitude when you say “I get to work.” It puts things into perspective when you realize that you get to do things that some people WISH they could do!

What do you “get to do” today?

My son is living with a woman who is very controlling. She is constantly complaining. They have a 14 year old son. My son is a good person, a family man, and a hard worker. He is working 2 jobs to keep up with their finances. His job is not pleasant either. The boss is nasty. A young man working with him has no respect for himself or anyone else. My son is in pain as he needs to get a rotator cuff repaired. If he gets it done he will loose his job. They lay him off at holiday time & cancel his medical insurance. He needs someone to talk to to guide him in the right direction. He is looked down on by his own family. I have been taking food to him once a week or he would have nothing to eat.
    I would appreciate your help.
    Sincerely,
    Doris
