I believe in competing with oneself rather than others. You will never know what it is to walk in an other persons shoes so don’t compare yourself to others or what others have. Be your own advocate, set your own goals, live for your own ideals, dedicate yourself to your own future and love whole heartily without worrying about what people think! We have a snow day today! Yay!!! So today I am going to spend some quality time with the kids and then head out to do a little snowy shopping with my fiance. I love unexpected days off and I plan to enjoy it! So today… snow day or not, do something unexpected with the kids, maybe build a snowman or go visit grandma and Live An Inspired Life!

Remember the cookies that Grandma made? Oh how I love using my Mom and my Grandmothers recipes, they remind me of them and I love baking family recipes for the kids!

Today I baked one of my fiance’s favorite family recipes: White Chocolate Cookie Bars. The kids were all very excited with anticipation while I was baking and the smell of vanilla and white chocolate flooded the house with warmth and good feelings.
