So true! Nobody hates a good listener! When you are listening to a friend, be present in the moment, shut out all other thoughts of chores, work, kids, vacation etc. Don’t think about what your response will be, don’t think about how you can one up the conversation or what intellectual gem you can drop to sound smart, just listen.
