Natural consequences for children are always the best! Allow them to feel the consequences of their actions, it will make them a better person and teach them valuable lessons. If they skip class, don’t yell at the teacher, allow them to serve their time in detention. If they don’t go to practice, don’t get mad at the coach when they don’t get play time, allow them to serve their time riding the bench.
